Successful screen projects in the Asia Pacific demand more than just vision—they require deep cultural intelligence. This practical, interactive workshop is designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, equipping you with the vital skills needed to establish and maintain resilient cross-border partnerships.

Dr Mark Dinnen is an Assistant Professor of International Relations and the Discipline Lead for International Relations, Politics, and the Arts at Bond University. Mark often works closely the Bond’s film department, and his expertise in experiential learning has earned him multiple accolades, including the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning through Sustained Innovation, an Award for Teaching Excellence Citation from the Australian Awards for University Teaching, and international recognition from the Committee on Teaching About the United Nations. Dinnen most recently returned from Lao PDR, where he delivered a Masterclass to public servants on multilateral diplomacy and effective communication.
